After visiting Watkins Glen we found this little hole in the wall restaurant. Very friendly service and the food had a good home cooking taste. Is it the best food i have ever had? No, but it was pretty good for this small little town. I would recommend stopping by if you ever find yourself in the area.

I have never had the urge to eat a Reuben sandwich until I saw someone share a picture of it from this cafe. The service was quick, very nice wait staff, and the Reuben did not disappoint. Ordered a side of waffle fries which came out hot and perfectly crispy. I probably could have done without the Mac and cheese (eyes bigger than my stomach). I also had the blackberry pie for dessert. I really wanted to like it but found the seeds made it hard to eat. Otherwise it was good and not too sweet. Would pick any other pie, they all looked great. Overall, enjoyed my meal here and would recommend!
Traveling for work and had to stop for food on my way to my meeting. Saw a little diner: Classic Cafe. #1 Rueben!!! So yummy. Super thin slices piled high! Server and cashier were so friendly as well! Will be back for another Rueben soon!!
